Eric Testroeteは、かつてゲーム業界で働いていた3Dの専門家でもあるアーティスト。

この『Papercraft Self Portrait』(2009)は、自分の頭部を紙のポリゴンで3Dにした「かぶりもの」を作成し、それをかぶって公園やエレベータ、コンビニなどで撮影したもの。

写真のなかで頭部だけが3Dのように見えて、かつ現実の頭部より大きいので、マンガっぽい面白さが漂う。
