Microsoftから、RSSとOPMLを双方向向けに拡張する「SSE」 (Simple Sharing Extensions for RSS and OPML) というフォーマットが発表された。

RSSとOPMLの生みの親、デイブ・ワイナーも協力しており、ライセンスもオープンということで、技術系の有名ブログで軒並み好意的な反響が起きている。

まだ中身は理解できていないが、これはかなり重要なものになりそう。

それにしても、こういうとき個人ブログはほんとうに情報が早い。
特に技術系の話題では、マスメディアはスピード・質の両方で、個人ブログにまったく歯が立たない感じだ。
